bmwmotogreg
I am going to look at a 1991 Range Rover this weekend. They tell me it is in excellent condition but that the automatic transmission does not shift into 4th gear. Does this sound like total BS or is this possible? Is there an easy fix? I doubt they have been driving around in 4low.... Any ideas or are these just loud trucks?
bishbosh
Autobox is dying I am afraid. Have a look at the FAQ on Ashcroft's site. As there are so many RRC's around I wouldn't bother even loking at this one - the cost of repairing / replacing the autobox will be more than the value of the vehicle.
