matt bristol Posted August 16, 2009 Share Posted August 16, 2009 Prior to knackering the head gasket/head and it making all manner of noises now, I could hardly hear the turbo blowing on my 300tdi. BogMonster Posted August 16, 2009 Share Posted August 16, 2009 The Discovery has lots of sound deadening which absorbs the high frequency noise quite a lot. You should be able to hear it with the windows open though?
