V8 Freak Posted September 7, 2009 Share Posted September 7, 2009 I'm keen to understand the differences and similarities of the 3.9 dual port and 4.6 exhaust manifolds. I've got V8 Development ported heads so looking for a better match than the present headers since they have to come off... Specifically does anyone know the dimensions of the exhaust ports on each manifold ? (Just in case I'm not being clear, the dimensions of the rectangular ports where they clamp to the cylinder head.) My Janspeed headers are shot and I'm thinking of an exhaust system upgrade.... (See pic of dead #2 downpipe...) Or maybe just link 3.9 / 4.6 headers down the the stainless Janspeed system under the truck ! (Only the headers are mild steel and everything else down there is alive and well.) Thanks in advance.
