Gazzar Posted September 17, 2009 Share Posted September 17, 2009 Mine is the very same- leave it for ten minutes and it could be churning for 30 seconds before it kicks. if the block was at 5 degrees it would start without choke, only needing choke to get it to idle. It was suggested that it could be caused by low compression due to bore wear. Its odd, though. I wonder if there is sufficient petrol in the float? G. As it only does 2 k miles p.a. I'm living with it. Iwas going to try piston seal by Holts and see if that "fixes" it.
