andmac
has anyone any ideas, my td5 disco 2 starts to vibrate at around 3000rpm ,still pulls fine and runs great, makes no difference when on a run or stationary, i have heard bits about exhaust manifold problems , any advice or info would be appreciated
andymach23
Hi Does the vibration smooth out again after a few hundred revs past 3000? Mine is more like a harsh sound to the engine with a bit of extra vibration that goes away again. I don't know what causes it and have read quite a few posts with this sort of thing happening with this engine. Cheers, Andy
martinhollings
engine/gearbox mountings can cause vibrations the engine mountings can drop meaning metal to metal contact
