carl hurst Posted October 24, 2009 Share Posted October 24, 2009 Right then, I am playing about with some late jag v8 engines and prety much everything on them are stamped ford so thats the obvious manufacturer but i have been looking at V8's from the ford mustang and it appears the same block but without buying one and striping it i am not to shure and info is a bit thin, I am looking becouse the jags are 4.0L and 4.2L And the mustang do a 5.0L so a bigger capacity and if parts like the heads are interchangable then then the supercharger could possably be thrown on for a bit more grunt, Carl. As with chev there seem to be dozens of variations of their V8's 16v, 20v, 24v ally block, iron block all similar but not necessarily intrchangeable.
