muddy4x4xfar Posted November 24, 2009 Share Posted November 24, 2009 has anyone tried putting a range rover style gearbox on a td5 defender . the gearbox where you have tiptronic controls. where you have auto but also clunk the lever over and push forward for up a gear and down for lower gear. ive had a word with ashcroft transmissions (must tell you they have been brilliant, i recommend them very much)and they say it may be possible. if so what gear box did they use or what could i use and whats involved for doing the job. thanks for your help in advance Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
