rocksteady
Hi all, just had a very interesting drive home. Let me explain. It all started well, after about 30min driving I found it was staying in third. It would change into fourth, but not one and two. After a further 30min, there was a lot of juddering, then no drive at all. Oil is at the correct level. Reverse is fine, so as said the last five miles home were quite fun! The oil is quite dark, but no bits in it. The car is a 93 RRC LSE. Is it time for a new box? Or has anybody got any thaughts. Thanks for looking
Pete Attryde
Looking at the Ashcroft website gives the following :- My Autogearbox is now only able to select reverse. Why? Your A clutch (forward drive) has failed and you will require a replacment autobox. taken from here :- Click Me Pete.
