Firstly, Hi there this is my first post on here. Hope you guys can help.

Secondly, i had a 95 disco which died, i looked for a way to resurrect it and found the Tomcat :D which i am currently building, i am at the point where i need to be choosing what to do with the interior and have decided to go with a full set of aftermarket gauges.

here is my problems,

I currently work abroad and cannot remember how the speed is measured from the transfer box, could any one help me with this?

Also has any one on here put a custom speedo in there landy (with out glueing/drilling speed pickups onto the prop or any where else for that matter?

Does any one know a gauge that is compatable with the land rover spped pick up?

thanks

There is an electrical transducer on the transfer box on later ones, I think yours will be the same and I think it is the same as the late 99 onwards Defender transducer in which case it produces around 2400 pulses per kilometre if my memory is correct (the 2400 is correct I'm just not 100% certain whether it is per km or per mile but I think it is per km)
