rusty_wingnut
I have the standard sort of kit fitted to the front of my 90, steering guard, winch, bumper etc etc. Well it now sits a bit lower than I think it should. I have no interest in lift, thus I want a spring to counter the drop in ride height. I have currently standard springs, +2" dampers on normal turrets, when at near full stretch the current sprins just about go loose on their mounts, so free length is absolutely spot on IMO. I have roughly about 3" between axle and bump stops so need something. Somebody has suggested 90 rears, but the load found on here: http://www.landroverorphanage.com/shop/page/5?shop_param= doesn't look right. The only spring I can see on there that might be ok is the Police spec Rangie front. But it is over an inch longer I tow a heavy plant trailer irregularly but am worried with Police spec fronts the motor will tilt up too much. Any thoughts and guidance? Ex Member
How much higher do you want to go? 3" between axle and bumpstop is normal.
rusty_wingnut
well it used to sit quite tall, certainly taller than it does now. The springs are coloured the same as standard 90 springs.
