I was wondering if it would be possible to either: A: Remove the body and replace with a defender cab, chop off the overhang and to have tube front and rear wings, whilst still keeping it road legal on the original reg? or B: Remove the body and overhang and replace with a fully tubed body and wings, whilst still keeping it road legal on the original reg? I don't want to start the project to find I'll have to get it tested and checked or that i have to replace the body like for like. Any help would be appreciated.
