gaz0203
had a 300 90 in today that is a right pig to start first thing in the morning. checked ll fuel pipes and connections all seem fine. he says it seems as if its run out of fuel. goes like a rocket once started and will start fine all day long after. will the lift pump being faulty cause these issues?? Retroanaconda
Have you checked the leak-off pipes on the injectors? My 200Tdi suffered from this once and it turned out that three out of four of the banjo bolts were loose, allowing air to get in and letting the fuel drain back down overnight.
