Brake master cylinder and servo swap ???

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I have a nice 110 (1991) although it was converted from V8 to 300tdi by the previous owner. I finally found a front and rear td5 110 axles (rear salisbury) so it is time to prepare the swap. I have some questions about it, hopefully someone has the time to answer -:)

1- Brake pipes: Are the axles a direct swap ? Do I have to source some adapters or the like ?

2- Master cylinder and servo: Do you recommend to use a modern one? Maybe the old master cylinder does not provide enough flow/pressure to fill the brake pistons. Are the td5 master cylinder and servo a direct swap ? Do I have to source the entire pedal assembly ?

Thanks a lot in advance,

Carlos
