defv890 Posted September 18, 2010 Share Posted September 18, 2010 hi the pipe you describe is the turbo actuator vent (works on vacume and exhaustes equalizes) and is protected by the filter which should be clean and is part of the service secdule. if capped off or blocked the turbo does not operate correctly. There is normaly a small section of black pipe on the end of the filter to stop the clip from sliding off. the pipe runs from the turbo modulator/ solinoid mounted on the duct by the turbo at the back of the engine to the filter. hope this helps Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
