cypermethrin
On my '97 300 TDI I have a flexible front pipe just like this but mine also has the cat http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/LAND-ROVER-DEFENDER-300-TDI-FLEXIBLE-EXAUST-FRONT-PIPE-/220547816354?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3359ac9ba2 So my questions is the metal mesh covering the flexible bit is worn and coming off - is this just a heat shield - and further more how does the flexible bit work ? Disco-Ron
The flexi is like a conertina.... it has multiple rings as it were, allowing it to flex, i understand that the mesh is there to kind of stop it flexing too much........ the flexible bit isn't critical, and in fact the non catted front sections don't appear to have flexis.... if yours breaks, simply buy a decat one for £20.... and gain more performance aswell..
