sean f Posted November 16, 2010 Share Posted November 16, 2010 I want to upgrade some P38 axles, at the moment as far as I am aware no sells uprated shafts or CV's. The axles are of similar design to those on the D2 with open CV's does any one know if uprated CV's and shafts for a D2 axle will fit. Obviously the diff is offset to the other side on a P38 but if the spacing is still the same is it possible to just switch the shafts over from side to side. In particular are the CV's the same. Would be very good if it was possible but I assume it can't be this simple or Ashcroft's who sell uprated D2 shafts and CV's would be selling them as P38 parts just by changing the labels over, or is it just that no one has every checked.
