Kaliboy
Morning guys. Yesterday I gave the Discovery (300 tdi, 1997) a really good power wash. When I came to start the car I saw the dash lights weren't working. I then discovered the headlights aren't working either, except on full beam. There's a row of extra lights on my roof which are connected to the main beam and they are working. The other thing that's seems strange is the glow plug light isn't coming on either, when cold. I'm sure this is all linked but I don't know how. I figure it might be a relay but again I'm not fully sure, and I'm struggling to find the cause. Cheers Matt
Kaliboy
I'm wondering if this could be the ignition barrel. seems the cold start isnt working.
fozsug
More likely water has got in . check the relays in the drivers footwell , the fuses box there too, and some more relays in the passanger footwell . Also the main fuse box ubder the bonnet by the battery
Kaliboy
Cheers buddy. when you mean in the footwell do you mean under the steering wheel and behind the glove box? I didn't open the bonnet when cleaning. I checked the fuses in there today. Everything looked fine. I need to check the relays again.
