LR NUT Posted January 7, 2011 Share Posted January 7, 2011 Hi Has anyone upgraded their disco bulbs to Ice Blue Xenon? If so do they make a differance? I realise that you get some light blue and some seem to be a really dark blue tint on the bulbs. Im after a really dark blue tint as with the clear lamps on the disco's it will look quite smart. nicks90 Posted January 10, 2011 Share Posted January 10, 2011 i fitted some ice blue xenons to our old 200tdi disco many years ago and found 2 things 1) they took some getting used to. initially i thought they werent as good as you dont get that orange ambient glow, instead you only see the light hitting the ground and no background illumination. Once i got used to it, found they were much better. 2) wife did alot of night shifts at the time and all the traffic lights round our way were on sensors at night. Problem was they didnt pick up on the blue light and she would have to wind the window down and flash a torch to make the lights change if she wasnt following another vehicle!
