will4x4 Posted January 30, 2011 Share Posted January 30, 2011 I asked a while ago about putting a disco arm on a defender so its easier to change the drop arm ball joint. Is there an idiots guide on here with pictures... i just want to check what I'm doing before i go ahead.. Basically i have a discovery 300tdi 1995 steering box with the flat drop arm. I want to bolt that on my 1994 300tdi defender (so get rid of my drop arm that has a bend in it and a ball joint already attached. 1) first question will that work .. will everything turn ok having a flat drop arm ? 2) i was going to use my uprated steering arms that i already have on there and screw in a ball joint to it not sure whats there now thinking about it) 3) lastly buy a steering damper relocation kit and mount the damper differently im sure that's not all correct and could really do with a step by step idiots guide.. does anyone have one please? thank for your help in advance Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
