Gary Austin
I have an old 1990 Discovery V8i. It has been a faithful friend over the years but last year one of the fuel lines started leaking when i tried to remove the line it broke taking most of the pipe coming out of the fuel tank sender unit with it. It is a good vehicle, only done 93,000 but given its age and value I need to keep cost down as much a possible. Can anyone advise me of where i can get some replacement fuel lines and a tank sender unit that wont cost more than the car is worth. It would be very sad to to it go for scrap! Many thanks to you all Gary
FridgeFreezer
If they're metal lines you can replace them with rubber hose, as long as it's rated for high pressure fuel you're good to go. Doesn't cost much by the metre, even Halfrauds sell it last I looked.
