barmy Posted May 4, 2011 Share Posted May 4, 2011 Help! The passengerside window failed so I took the door panel off and found a snapped cable. I ordered a replacement cable kit and duly fitted it, all quite simple though fiddly. Problem is that once fitted back in the door I can't raise the glass, incidently I tried the mechanism without the glass and it worked OK. Is there an automatic stop on raising the window as it is quite stiff and requires some effort manually to get it up to the top and if so how can I release the stiffness / over ride the stop?
