mchuk22 Posted May 26, 2011 Share Posted May 26, 2011 accelerator/power Problem I have a 1998/1999 S reg Discovery 1 safari Automatic 2.5 cc Diesel When im driving the land rover i will get to a speed in happy with and take my foot of the accelerator and just put enough pressure on the pedal to keep the disco at the same speed (Cruising) . This is when the engine will loose power and a (check Engine) light will come on. to get the light to go out and get power back all I have to do is press down or release the pedal a bit and every thing is ok.
