The Three Amigos

Alright Guy's And Girls,

This maybe a cheeky question but..........Can you remove a fuse so the hill descent, traction control, abs light codes go out on the dash so i can get my disco through an M.O.T ????????? My local mechanic is busy reseating the abs sensors for the third time, He has checked the hubs on the front and back and can not find anything wrong with them and he also saus the bearings look fine. I would replace the hubs but if this is not the solution then i am really confused because everything seems as it should, After reseating the sensors i've had the codes reset i jump in the disco and drive 500yds and they come back on.

Any help would be much apprecaited.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Swally

Had the three amigos for years and years, Land Rover dealer garages could never fix, just erased the error, some even expressed total lack of knowledge of there being a problem(like it was unique to my car). Finally went to a Land Rover specialist who actually knows his stuff and cared, he traced it to the ABS control modulator electronics, replaced elecronics (not cheap, thank the lord he did not have to replace the whole module) and problem has not reappeared. This fix was done five months ago.
