thanks for the help job done now the 2 green wires are for the reverse ligts, the black and yellow is the inhibitor switch wire you put that to earth and the black wire is for the transmission over heat light on dash which you just leave.

i have a 300tdi auto disco mine is carp on fuel im just in the prosses of converting it to manual

Hi can anyone help me i have a p-reg 300 tdi auto disco the auto box went faulty so i have converted it to manual, does anyone know how to bypass the inhibitor switch which stops u starting it in gear. There are 4 wires on the plug which come off the auto box 2 were green with different couloured traces in them and 2 blacks with differnt colour trace in them. i think these are the wires for it but not sure can anyone help regards paul

Same thing happend to my 200tdi tried everthing got fuel to injector pump took stop out fuel comeing out of there but still wouldnt start. injector pump had gone took timing belt off and front of pump was loose i took pump apart the shaft had snaped inside ended up putting second hand pump on it now running fine

the injector pump on my 200tdi 110 has packed in i have a pump off a n-reg 300tdi disco they look the same does anyone know if there are any diferences and would this fit my 200tdi any help would be great

I had a series 3 which did the same thing pedle stuck down i tried spraying releaseing oil down but no luck i ended up haveing to take pedal box out to free off

I altered the fuel screw on the back of the pump ages ago and couldnt remember which way i turned it to up fuel. It smokes quite a bit and mot is comeing up so need to sort it

Also i went to landrover for a genuine bearing and oil seal instead of buying cheap rubish the cheaky ba****ds tried selling me britpart stuff a genuine landrover prices i got the bearing from a bearing stockest in hull common bearing fits alsorts of things bearing is a 6207 £13.40 (landrover wanted £36.45 for britpart) oil seal is ftc4939 £2.49 + vat and postage from britpart (landrover wanted £8.98 for same make)

Just replaced bearing and seal on front output shaft on transfer box easy enough to do make sure you have a good pair of circlip plier its a strong bugger here is the link to doing this job i found it very helpful http://forums.lr4x4.com/index.php?showtopic=25053&st=0entry254775
