monkeyb0y Posted July 24, 2011 Share Posted July 24, 2011 Hi all, Hoping for a quick reply...I've got the sunroof off the tdi300 (front one) and have a new tigerseal ready for action....the gasket on the top plastic to body section looks ok... Should I remove it and replace with tigerseal or just put some on top of the cleaned up rubber gasket? Any advice appreciated.. Trevorevans Posted July 24, 2011 Share Posted July 24, 2011 Mine looked ok too until I picked at it lightly then it came away very easily, to be honest I'd remove the existing seal, clean it all up and make a good new seal. I found removing the headlining and sunroof cartridges quite a simple job but I'd only want to do it once so made sure they were sealed properly. Oh by the way I found out the hard way tiger seal is a real PITA to remove from the paintwork so be careful with the excess lol!. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
