keith_Disco
Hi Anyone I'm new here, and thought i would introduce myself, with a small post I have a 1996 3 door Discovery. I'm in the process of sanding back (rust removel) the front and rear steel bumpers, and I'm thinking about painting the plastic side parts,(while I'm at it) with plastic primer, then finishing the plastic bits off in cellulose. Has anyone tried this before? I can't see any problem with doing this (in theory), but thought I might ask 'just incase' about colour co-ordinating the old bumpers. Cheers
teabag
Sprayed the plastic backs of my driving lamps with the special paint for plastic without any problems, cellulose will chip off as it's not for plastic.
keith_Disco
Is plastic primer the paint you mean? I'll need to look into this more! Thanks for the advice.
