yildiz
I removed the engine to replace clutch and lever, put it back together and now the alternator not charging, I have checked the alternator terminals and it’s putting out 13-14, i made mistake of letting a mate help me take it apart so I’m not sure where he took wires from and would you believe neither is he the --------------------------------------- idot, anyway I have reattached wires to alternator , oil sensor, starter motor, water sensors, I have one wire going to injector pump, engine will start and run fine but just draws all power from battery
Les Henson
Running the engine without the wiring connected can ruin the alternator. I've done it once or twice with no problems, but it can happen. Les.
yildiz
What did I miss, I'll tell you what missed!!! a wire tucked behind the engine that my friend took off, it belongs on the starter motor, I'm now taking my self to one side and beating my self with a blunt instrument.
