Frax
I have landed up with two spare wires next to the gear / transfer box. One is slate with red trace and the other is black. I have had a look at RAV and it tells me that these are of oil temperature – don’t remember having oil temperature but RAV says C219 for oil temp. My question is, do these pug into a fixed temp sender or into flying leads as I cannot find what they plug into. Or are they used. western
Black is earth slate/red trace is main gearbox oil temp, if you have a R380 main gearbox, the sender sits on the rear left of the extension housing in a bolt on adaptor, as shown in this thread http://forums.lr4x4.com/index.php?showtopic=30261 & yes it is a common part for LT77,LT77S & R380. Frax
Hi Ralf Just had a look - picture posted by Diesel Jim shows two wires, green with trace which I have wired up to the reversing switch and they terminate into a plug. The red/slate and black wires I have are fitted with spade recepticals on the ends. I may however be looking at the wrong pictures, the gear box is an R380. western
if no sender to connect them too, just safely terminate & tie up so they cannot get caught by the prop. my R380 doesn't have the sender switch either.
