will4x4 Posted October 2, 2011 Share Posted October 2, 2011 Just a quick note to say thank you to john Saley for his winch. I have had it on a few months now and its absolutely brilliant. Free spool is easy and the thing pulls like a train all day long. A few times i saw some 8274's slowing and this didn't miss a beat. i would definitely advise anyone to go down this route. It does not matter how stuck you are or how high the slope is it doesn't reduce speed. Also in terms of plasma rope i have ran a lot and am really pleased with the Ruff tracks rope - great price and very strong easily with stood everything we chucked at it. just shame my cv's didnt.
