core plug

Three of the same in a row? I suggest you do all 3 while you're in there.

Turbo/exhaust manifold is in the way, so unless you have some trick tools, then it'll have to be removed (inlet first, and then turbo (oil feed and return, boost/wastegate pipe, and EGR if still fitted, then 17mm nuts to remove it all. You'll then have easy access to the core plugs. Bang an old screwdriver through the core plug/s and then pop it/them out. Use threadlok or similar to ensure a seal on the new ones.
