reedx
I've started the preparations to repair my footwells, and was wondering do people normally keep the bracket which attaches the back of the inner wing to the footwells? Mine look like they will need to be removed to let in the repair sections Bottoms of footwells are totally goosed and it looks like one of the main causes was the standard floormats, the foam on the back of which was soaking. The gap at the rear of the inner wing also looks like a prime candidate for allowing mud to accumulate on the outside of the footwells and bulkhead support brackets. I'm sure mmgemini fixed a piece of plastic to his bottom of his inner wing to close that gap, so I'll probably try to do something similar. Have recent Defenders had this issue addressed?
