RustyNissanPrairie
Im working on a 200tdi project at the moment with a genuine Defender 200tdi engine. I have the original airbox/filter housing but I'm wanting to use a different airbox/filter housing-the only trouble being that it doesn't have a hose connector on it for the crankcase breather. The engine is also going to have a Jeremy Fearn full size intercooler so not really wanting to get it oiled up with crankcase oil fumes. The 110 that its going in is used for overlanding/european trips rather than full on off road useage allthough I would still like to maintain a fully sealed system like the original airbox setup. Any ideas?
landy V8
could you not cut out the connector from the original box and araldite it on the new box.
RustyNissanPrairie
not enough room-the alternative airbox only has a short tube for the airbox to turbo flexy to go on, I know you can get oil catch cans but these are generally open to vent or they have a small K&N style filter on them so they've put me off a bit from using one.
