jagwit
Does anyone know what the resistance vs temperature values should be of the coolant temp sensor for the instruments on a facelift '95 Discovery 1 (v8)? I am running an 82degC thermostat but the instrument gauge reads way too cool. I measure 84degC with my infrared gauge on the thermostat housing and I get 310 Ohm on the instrument coolant sensor. Boydie
I never tested that, what I did was to put the sensor in a container of water with a thermometer and electric heater and connected it up, when the temp. was 85 degrees C the guage read just below 1/2 way. at 90. C it was on 1/2 and at 105. C it was at the top of the white line - around the 3/4 mark. So I put it back
