Phil Hancock Posted April 26, 2012 Share Posted April 26, 2012 109" 6cyl/V8/1 ton/FC front wheel cylinders are 1 1/8" bore, does anybody know of what vehicle would have been fitted with 1 1/4" bore direct replacement versions of the same cylinders. Or the part numbers for direct replacement 1 1/4" cylinders. I ask as i changed my original 109" front brakes for the bigger spec brakes but they seem to lack bite due to the smaller cylinder size and something that backs up my belief of this is that the rear brake shoes have worn out before the fronts.
