matt32
Hi guys. Got a 1997 P Reg disco that i might be selling. 125000 miles Timing belt and fan belt changed earlier this year. 4 good general grabber at2 tyres New springs on rear last year. New brake pads on rear last year. Plastic body kit. 7 seats. Roof lights and driving lights. Had the boot floor and where the rear doors shut to welded up 2 years ago. Dog guard and roller cover fitted in the boot. Bad points: Fuel guage doesn't always work so you have to keep an eye on your miles. Rev counter needle wobbles around a bit. Apparently a loose connection somewhere but i haven't checked this. Boot door doesn't always lock on fob. Have to push lock down before locking truck. Again probably an easy repair. Your thoughts on how much its worth would be appreciated. Thanks Matt
zardos
I Assume it's a diesel 300tdi model from the timing belt change, not a V8 and you don't say how much MOT it has So probably around the £1000 - £1100 mark if it has a reasonable amount of MOT or £600 otherwise if no or little MOT
xorigamixartstx
I paid £2k for an 96 300tdi disco last year but it's very tidy and had 11months MOT. Depends on who is look and as always what they are willing to pay. Post some pics.
zardos
It also depends on what else if for sale. I paid £1500 for a very tidy/long MOT 96 with very low mileage for age (66k) 2 years ago. The fuel gauge problem takes a bit off the value as this is something that most people would want to fix immediately. My estimate was based on what else is out there at the moment and I would say now was not the best time to sell (just before everybody wants a 4x4 for winter is the best )
fozsug
I would say £ 600 to £ 800 with a full MOT £ 300 to £ 400 with little or no MOT

Disco DJ
I appreciate you're being honest, but if you have to mention 3+ things that need fixing ("probably easy" or not) you either depreciate the value or plain put people off! If they're easy get them fixed! And get best value for it! Dave
