dewolf
Hello all, I have a confusing situation regarding the reversing light - there is power of 11.72 volts / the bulb is good / there is no earth to my knowledge as I have done a continuity test. Is there something Im missing or doing wrong. Are there any other checks that I can do to solve this problem? Many thanks - Stu - .
PieEater3142
reversing switch on back of gearbox? just a thought but I could be very wrong.
stuck
Yep, sounds like the switch is goosed or a bad connection as it provides the 0V connection (or earth if you prefer).
Fandrover
Another vote for the reversing switch in the gearbox housing, had the same issue a year ago, make sure it is also set at the right depth for activating the light (i.e. follow the instructions)
