defender dinky Posted December 6, 2012 Share Posted December 6, 2012 hi, p38 97 dt, on start up first thing in the morning wait for glow plug light to go out turn key wants to start but seem to be no compression, then a clunk and cuts out, there seems to be a kind of rattling from by starter motor after it's cut out, this happens 3/4 times on trying to start it, and then starts and it's fine all day after, it's only happened since i put a brand new battery on 800amp, any ideas. dd Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
