JimDay Posted February 25, 2013 Share Posted February 25, 2013 I would go along with that Al or it's a poor connection on the power side causing it to over heat my son John just had a problem with the side/headlight switch on his Mini melting it turned out to be the live feed connection in the plug was not making proper contact with the pins on the switch, & it over heated taking the switch out. the other thing it could be is the bulb is not a tight fit in the holder causing a poor connection thus causing an ark that will also melt the holder.
