garrycol
In addiiton to my V12 jag I have found on the Jag forums that these carbs were also used on later 4.2 E-type engines and I think sedans. The airflow through a higher reving 4.2 six is a lot more than a slower revving 4.6 V8 so the jag setup should work Ok on the 4.6. Also there is a lot of discussion on how to improve their performance under a procedure termed "Five-minute Strangleberg fix". I do not want to play around with the carbs I have and used carbs and manifolds often come up on ebay so I will get a set of these and rebuilt to the jag specs and run from there. Thanks for all the input - I appreciate it. Cheers Garry
