beggers Posted August 20, 2013 Share Posted August 20, 2013 Hi, not been on here for ages but could do with some help. I've got a 97 300tdi auto and a 94 300tdi manual. The old one is knackered but using it for spares and the fuel pump was in excellent condition so I'm gonna put it on the auto to simplify things and make tweaking easier. I believe the pump change is pretty straightforward & I've got some kick down brks off ashcrofts but not sure about the pedal box. Has anyone done this conversion? BogMonster Posted August 21, 2013 Share Posted August 21, 2013 Don't think the pedal box will need mods unless the 300Tdi is completely different to the V8 auto. I converted my old 96 3.9 V8 manual to an auto, and all the fiddling with brackets was on the engine as far as I remember, though it was a long time ago now.
