coachman Posted November 4, 2013 Share Posted November 4, 2013 Well gentleman /and ladies , my spares arrived as promissed from Paddocks , and with stall set out AND a fresh brew I decided to have a go . So on with the new fuel pump and new heater plugs ( belt and braces my grandad would say ).Also having recharged the battery ( and prefilled the fuel filter ) .I nervously turned the key . Oh no it still cranked over slow ,then strangely the cranking speeded up and the engine coughed into life. I covered the back yard in blue smoke also .I left the engine running for 5 mins and went for a road test . WHAT A DIFFERENT CAR ,it now accelerates ( very quickly ) ,it will change up the box going UPHILL ( is automatic ) and start on 1/2 a key .WOW . I thank all you people for your help . Coachman .
