Hi all i have a D2 52 plate TD5 discovery done 82000 miles and noticed left over night the air springs drop about an inch, start up raises up and all is fine. there is no notice of lopsidedness just a bit lower is this normal ?

from the service history one air spring was replaced a few years ago,

Can you please help?

The rubber starts to crack over time, and then leaks air out. Sounds like the other one needs replacing.

There is a write up here found from a quick internet search. http://www.discovery2.co.uk/Rear%20Air%20Springs.html

To be honest though I would replace both, and I would just change the rubber bellows bit. I am going to do my front ones soon on my Range Rover.
