Fatboy
Morning! So... I'm still "circling" the project of fitting my TD5 Disco engine, gearbox and axles to a 90. I've stripped the 90 and am partially through refurbishing the axles. I initially took them off and cleaned them up so I could use them for reference to determine where to weld the brackets on the TD5 Disco axles but I got carried away, and figured I may as well refurbish them and store them for the project after the next one.. or the one after that. (I'll probably be carted away before I get there but hey ho). Anyhoo... the time is approaching where I'll be pulling the axles off the Disco to commence their transformation. My plan is to spend a while sketching out the location and angles for the various brackets etc but I thought I'd ask on here first to see if anyone has already done the drawings and is willing to share them? It would save me starting from scratch. I've had a search on google, and through the CAD archive on here, and found nowt apart from a bunch of Job Adverts for JLR... Once I've done mine, I'll pop them in the CAD archive here although it will be with a disclaimer that I measured the different angles of dangle with an old school protractor and my iPhone..
