boaterboy
I want to do some work on the front of my vehicle which will take some time. The work will involve removing the front bumper assembly and I would ideally like to drive it in this condition. Providing I remove the crush cans (the only things I can see that would protrude and endanger a pedestrian) would the vehicle be road legal? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. rovernut
It is not illegal to drive with a winch bumper fitted. Normally with recovery points and fairlead protruding. Not exactly pedestrian friendly either. Can't see the difference apart from you normally have to declare the Winch to your insurer.
