cainsworth Posted October 3, 2015 Share Posted October 3, 2015 Hi all, Trying to changed td5 clutch and am struggling to remove the plastic acoustic cover that sits over the bellhousing. I cant find anything in the workshop manual. My questions are: 1/ where are the fasteners? 2/ are they bolts, nuts, ... ? 3/ once loose do you drag it backwards, roll it sideways off the Bell housing, use TNT...? Thanks in advance! steve_a Posted October 14, 2015 Share Posted October 14, 2015 two bolts, looking from the gearbox end, they are about 5 o clock and 10 o clock. I think 10mm head. I found them a royal when I did the box last month and replaced with two studs, these need to be a bit on the short side though. And then use wing nuts for an easy refit.
