SHY 7G
Hi All need help in identifying the thread size of this flexible hose line. Thread "A" is a 7/16" x 20 UNF size, but have no idea what thread "B" is?? ( the dia. of "B" = 11.76mm (0.4629") approx. and I'm looking to use 6mm pipe with the female union connector. Question posted here just in case defender forum users maybe able to assist. (thread also placed in series forum) All feedback greatly appreciated many thanks Richard
rich broom
If it's a brake flexi, it should be the same both ends. But try m10x1
FridgeFreezer
What is it? What does it attach to on which vehicle(s)? Got a part number?
SHY 7G
If it's a brake flexi, it should be the same both ends. But try m10x1 Yes it is typically used as a brake flexi-pipe, M10x1mm way to small???? I've purchased an M12 x 1.0mm female fitting, only a guess at present, but can't keep buying guess sizes as it soon mounts up ££££'s So any more thoughts on what size it could be, please advise thanks
FridgeFreezer
Can you take it to a friendly hydraulics or nut & bolt shop (or even a machine shop) and ask them to ID it? ...or (hint hint) fill in your location in your profile and maybe a friendly local forumer with a thread ID kit might work it out for you?
