panzergirl Posted June 2, 2011 Share Posted June 2, 2011 Hi all! Well, as above, it just won't start! Dash board lights come on, heater plug light goes out so I turn the key and.....CLICK! Nothing!!! just Click! I drove it into town (3 miles in the rain) and it was fine, parked up then got back in and the click/nothing started, sooooo bump started it and drove home and now nothing but the click!? It has had issues (its a landrover!) and recently I was driving along and it suddenly died, wouldn't re start but by the time I'd phoned for rescue it did restart and drove home fine.....last time it was hot (April) it wouldn't restart immediately after stopping, so I'd have to wait 20 mins and then it would start ok, I assumed this was sticking starter solenoid so has it lost the will to live or is it something else?? I'm starting to detest the bl***y car and with a toddler I just would like it to be vaguely reliable!! A BIG ask I know lol!
