mudmagnet
my rear windows on my disco wont work, ive tried replacing switches replacing relays and even followed a link i found on here about removing the window ecu but nothing works, my question is can i wire the rear windows up on there own through a new relay and new switches without using any existing components except of course the window motors
Niamh
You think you've got problems... mine don't work when everything's neatly assembled, but with everything 1/2 re assembled they do! Niamh

leon_81
I had the same issue when I got my 300tdi - it was a dodgy bit of solder in the window ecu - I followed a guide online and resoldered, all been ok for nearly a year now
lawrence
would this work for a front window or is it only the rears, reason for asking is my front passanger window does not work but my rear one's are fine.
leon_81
Try another switch - one of mine is a bit didgy and works when it wants
lawrence
I swapped the switche over in the centre console for the one in the rear that works but still no joy. Could it be the motor and if so is it possible to swap the front and rear ones over. Don't use the back seats so no need for the window to work.
