Aren't landys great there's always something odd. My 110 has one private previous owner on the book, I thought as soon as I saw inside, perhaps they were for gas cylinders, but why? There not big enough for jerry cans. What ever the answer, I love it, over the years I've had various landys and they've all had secrets.
No other vehicles have this , that's what makes them special !!!

On my 110 there are side lockers with a mesh floor, a curved cradle with a security belt. Any idea what they were for ? The lockers are only approx 300 mm square.
On another note
What's the correct procedure for using the key fob imobiliser, any ideas.

I'm just lining the back out with some ply and a little insulation in between, roof lining will be next to combat the condensation in the winter. I'm still running the transit for work at the mo but that will have to go soon, and then I'll have a smile on my face every day.

We'll I've got it , and I've got to say having not driven one for some ten+ years it comes as a bit of a shock, it smells like an landrover, sounds like an old landrover and drives like an old landrover ,
I love it !!!!!!!!!
How do I put some pics up?
Dave
Ok, I can't add much and I'm only a newby here, see my posts " something sensible for retirement"
I've had various landys but not for some while, it gets in the blood!. I just didn't want another boring Transit so wether this is the right decision who knows but I can't wait!!!

No the W1 is only as there's someone else Dave W on the forum already I'm in Cheshire not down south. Perhaps I'll try and change it to Cheshire Dave if that's possible now.
