  1. I concur with this statement, wholly reccommend Andy & Stuart at LandroversUK, successful transplant on my knackered 110 2.5TD with a spanking 200Tdi from a Disco, no problems when little things were noticed after the work was carried out, took straight back and sorted there and then. no hanging around. Again on the plus side you get new clutch, timing belt, new hoses, bespoke downpipe, remarkable transformation on my 110 Chris
  2. To be honest you would be better off using Timesert inserts, buy them from the States or thru Wurth UK, we have used these at work now for several years for all sorts of high torque, load applications when repairing eg: Front and rear suspension mounts so a head boult should be no real challenge, if I remember correctly they do a kit specially for head bolts
  3. I agree with you there Mo, bought a full set of Wipac replacement bulb holders and lenses to ease my baby through its MOT last year, this year plagued by people flashing me for no rear lights, checked lamps, bulb mysteriously lying inside lens not in holder, under more investigation I found that the pip on the bulb had been pushed through the bulb holder by the pressure spring and had carved its own path out of the locking tab rendering holder useless. Since found out that these Paddock purchased items should have been in boxes and not in poly bags with cardboard stapled o top toclose bag - apparently these are dodgy Asian copies and not worth anyones money, anyway live and learn now replaced with LEP units
